Amitabh Tyagi has been involved in academics with reputed institutions like Amity School of Architecture & Planning, Apeejay School of Architecture & Planning for over 12 years. His formal education includes a Bachelors in Architecture from Govt. College of Architecture Lucknow & Masters in Architecture specializing in building services from Jamia Milia Islamia. He has participated in National Level Competition related to River Front Development & won the competition organized by National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources. He has dealt with many projects during his professional experience with renowned firms.

A Ph.D in Visual Communication from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (Submitted); Preeti has a M.Phil & MVA in Applied Art from Dr. B.R. Ambedekar University Agra, and BFA in Applied Arts from the Rajasthan School of Art Jaipur. She has been a visiting research fellow at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, School of Design. She has 10 years teaching experience in renowned universities and institutes of India among are Amity University, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, District Institute of Education & Training.

Aditi is an Architect from SVIT, Gujarat University and an Industrial Designer from SPA, New Delhi. She possesses vast experience in the field of Architecture and design in association with various reputed firms in Ahmedabad and New Delhi. Her Thesis project, based on the design of an educational toy for preschool children, done with Playgro Toys India Pvt Ltd and sponsored by Design Clinic scheme for MSME by NID, was highly acclaimed, and was manufactured and launched in Nuremberg Toy Fair ‘2013. Before joining WUD, Aditi ran her own consultancy firm, focusing on Space Design, Product Design and Graphic Design.

A topper from Delhi University and a gold medalist from Pune University, Aparna Gwande was the Head designer at Vichitra Sarees for nearly a decade. Aparna has been associated with the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India as a designer for development of the Handloom sector. Having worked extensively with prominent publishing houses, she has more than 50 Book covers of eminent authors to her credit. Before joining WUD she was the creative director at an IT MNC. Her first book on Indian Textile designs got published recently.

With a foundation in fine arts from MS University of Baroda. Hridayshri is a graduate of Communication Design from NID Ahmedabad. She has over a decade of teaching experience with reputed design institutes of the country like NID Ahmedabad, NID Kurkshetra, Symbiosis Pune & SACAC New Delhi. During her tenure with Integrated Design Services (IDS) NID, Ahmedabad and also as an independent design consultant, she has worked with clients like Doordarshan Delhi, Victoria Memorial Museum of Kolkata, MRVC Mumbai, ITDP Ahmedabad, Sahchari Foundation of Mumbai, Gems & Jewllery Promotion council at Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh Tourism & Ramkrishna Mission at Khetri.

A gold medal holder and alumni of Faculty of Fine Arts MS University of Baroda, Rahul Bhattacharya is a cultural theorist, pursuing writing, curating exhibitions and building art education spaces. He has been designing communications for events, exhibitions and art works. As a curator he specialises in exhibition design and outreach doing seminal shows like the 'Drifters', heading outreach programes for Coovum Art festival and the film Rang Rasia.

Umair Khan is an alumni of NIFT, Delhi from Clothing Production Technology Programme. He has a Diploma in Pattern Engineering from Tuka Academy of Pattern Engineering, Gurgaon and an M.Phil. from JNU, Jodhpur and an M.A. from D.B.R.A. University, Agra. Mr. Khan has over 11 years experience in teaching Pattern Making, Garment Construction and Pattern Making software at various premier institutes like NIFT, IICD, NIIFT, SoFD (GDGU) & AEPC. He also has a patent in his name.

Himani G Choudhary is a doctorate from University of Delhi specializing in the field of Fashion, Apparel and Textiles. With more than 14 years of experience working in the industry, academics and research. She has worked with fashion and apparel brands like Gap, Banana Republic, H&M, Macy's and Tommy Hilfiger before moving to academics and education at the university level. Her academics and teaching experience includes heading the Post graduate (M.Des) program at Sushant School of Design, Ansal University and supervising eight master’s thesis. With various papers and publications at national and international level and participation in numerous conferences including best paper award in International Conference on green chemistry, research is a strong foothold. Other teaching experiences include working with the department of Apparel Design and Construction, Delhi University and heading the Fashion and Apparel Design department in Galaxy Global Institutions, Kurukshetra University.

Architect, RajatVerma is a graduate of Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur and a Masters degree holder from GJUST, Hisar. His long working experience includes a tenure with with leading media group Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd (The Times Group), Chisel Fitness (A ViratKohli's Venture) and a teaching experience of ~3 years with Jagannath University.

Kunal Dahiya is an Industrial designer from National Institute of design with specialization in Ceramic and glass design. He has extensive experience of designing lifestyle products, product design, glass design, and ceramic design and decor accessories for indoor and outdoor amongst other. In an enriching career, Kunal Dahiya has worked with ISRO museum Ahmedabad, Ekal foundation and Bollywood art project (BAP). His photography and art direction are also warmly embraced.

He is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with masters in Industrial Design and bachelors in Automobile Engineering from Institute of Technology and Management, Gurgaon. He has worked with tech startups like Cubical Laboratories and Telesoft Solutions on IoT and home automation products through his own Industrial Design studio. He works on research, design and engineering of new products, vehicles and technologies.

As alumnus of fashion design department of NIFT Delhi, Satyam has sharpened his designing skills working with export & buying houses of Tom Tailor. He was teaching at NIFT Patna prior to joining WUD. A keen writer, Satyam has also published a novel named ‘ The other side of the moon”.

Architect Aastha Kalia has graduated from DCRUST, Murthal and holds a Masters in Sustainable Architecture from the same University. She is trained under the Sustainable Solutions Group of AECOM India – a Multi-National Company and worked for achieving GRIHA rating on pioneer projects like Solar Energy Center-Gurgaon & NIIT-Noida. She is a GRIHA Certified Professional. She has also worked with Kothari Associates hospital design and institutional projects, and holds keen interests in photography, travelling & exploring new places and reading. 

A Gold Medalist in Fabric and Apparel Science from MJPRU Bareilly and Silver Medalist from from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, Anshika has over 3 years of rich working experience with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow before joining WUD.

Having an experience of more than four years, Pulama is a (B.Arch) & Urban Planner (M. Plan) from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. She has worked at Delhi Development Authority, being a part of the prestigious Yamuna Riverfront Development Project and Integral Designs, New Delhi. She has also headed the design teams of DLF township projects.

Anupam Saikia has completed his M.F.A., specialising in Painting from University of Hyderabad. He was awarded “Young Talented Artist Award 2013-2014” NEZCC, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.  He has participated in Crack international Art camp, Bangladesh in 2017. He has participated as a performance Artist in Kolkata Performance Art  Festival since 2016. He was part of the project “Workers and Farmer: The Panorama of Resistance (Prelude) as part of Curatorial Intensive South Asia, an initiative by Goethe- Institut / Max Mueller Bhaban, Delhi and Khoj International Artist Association, New Delhi. He has also completed performance project cum residence, Srinagar Biennale Basel- Artist in Residence at Basel, Switzerland.

Masters in Design (Communication Design) from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and B.Sc. Mass Communication. from Punjab Technical University. He has worked with advertising agencies and did branding Projects in Delhi and Chandigarh. Also worked as consultant Product Graphics Designer for TI Cycles of India and recently was working with Decathlon India as a Communication Designer. He has been Awarded for Kathi Roll (Packaging Design - Student group project) from The National Awards for Excellence in Packaging, INDIASTAR 2015 organized by INDIAN INSTITUTE OF PACKAGING, Mumbai. The experience has given him an edge to approach a problem logically in a methodical manner. Interested in user experience design, information design, branding, packaging, research and photojournalism.

Aditi Dutta is a graduate from Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayyajirao University of Baroda, with masters in visualization and Bachelors in BFA – Applied Art from Amity University, Noida. She has worked with advertising and design companies like Soho Square – Ogilvy, Gurgaon and Treefrogs Design Communications. She has worked for major brands likes Luminous, Honda, Milo, Adani, Lava, PVR, Times Card etc. Her research interests are in the fields of Advertising,Brand identity, Illustration, Typography, Packaging, Campaign Planning, and Concept Building.

Kirti is a Gold Medalist MBA holder from O. P. Jindal Global University and a Business Economics graduate from S.G.T.B Khalsa College, University of Delhi. She has also attended courses in Strategy, Corporate Foresight & Business at European Business School, Germany. She has worked as a Key Account Manager at Axis Bank in Merchant Acquisition, and has implemented policies and procedures for key merchants in the corporate sector as well as the government. During her tenure at the bank, she contributed to creating more than 100 new-to-world digital paypoints in Delhi-NCR region. 

Amisha Jangra is a landscape architect graduated from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and did her under graduation in architecture from DCRUST, Murthal. She possesses good knowledge of nature, sustainability and integrated designing activities. Her focus areas arelandscaping and Planting design.

Komal did Master in Technology with First Division with Honours from DCRUST, Murthal University and done Bachelors in Information Technology from B. M. Institute Of Engineering & Technology, MDU University also with First Division with Honours. She Published journal Papers in well-known international Journal papers related to her Master’s Research work in Software Engineering & Wireless Sensor Networks. She has Experience of 5 year plus in teaching of Computer science and IT subects.Now she is leading the IT team with the responsibility of computers lab and related teaching courses. She also plays a very important role in Exam coordination and student’s extra-curricular activities.
