Dr .Preeti Yadav teaches undergraduate and Postgraduate students in School of Communication and Visual Art Department at WUD. She has done Ph. D. in visual communication from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT),M.Phil & Masters in visual communication from Dr.B.R.Ambedekar University, and Bachelor’s in Applied Arts from the Rajasthan School Of Art. Her Ph.D. research focuses on young consumer's perception on design characteristics of mascot as a form of communication in advertisement. During her Ph.D. she was visiting researcher at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, School of Design. Attended two courses in University Art of London 1-Communication for PR and Advertising at London College of Communication in UK 2-Typography at Central Saint Martin in the UK. Her other research interests are in the field of Advertising, Brand identity, Typography, Packaging, Design Semantics, Publication Design, Visual Ethnography, Information Graphics, Visual communication, Visual interface design and fine arts. Her publications that have published in international Journals and international conferences. She was awarded "The Best Paper Award" at ICCVAD 2018 International Conference on Communication, Visual Arts & Design, Held on 2018 at London, United Kingdom and most "DISTINGUISED PAPER" Award from International Conference of Research into Design ICORD'17. One of her paper had been short listed for "YOUNG RESEARCH AWARD" at HWWE15. She previously taught at Amity School of Fine Arts, Amity University, Noida. She has 14years’ teaching and research experience in her relevant field.
